Aims

We draw inspiration from nature to devise solutions that produce radical increases in resource efficiency – creating more with less.

This discipline, known as ‘Biomimicry’, represents an under-explored territory that can yield imaginative and beautiful architecture. It can provide solutions to complex issues such as water shortages and waste management.
Examples such as the Eco-Rainforest and the Las Palmas Water Theatre use a fraction of the resources of a conventional approach and create highly profitable business opportunities.

Nature has had a 3.6 billion year R&D period that has resulted in a huge range of organisms that have evolved solutions to resource-contrained environments.  It has a lot to teach us.
